Will Sparrow

Will Sparrow brings a lifetime of leadership, service, and strategic decision-making to his clients at New Waters Realty. A retired Brigadier General in the U.S. Air Force and Alabama Air National Guard, Will spent more than three decades leading complex operations, managing multimillion-dollar budgets, and preparing teams for high-stakes missions at home and abroad. His military career demanded precision, accountability, and calm confidence under pressure, qualities he now brings to every real estate transaction. 

With over 6,000 flight hours as a command pilot, 3,000 flight hours as Boeing pilot and experience overseeing thousands of personnel throughout his career, Will understands that preparation and communication are everything. Whether guiding first-time buyers, military families relocating, or sellers preparing to maximize their investment, he approaches each client relationship with the same level of discipline, strategy, and personal commitment that defined his military and civilian international pilot careers. 

Will co-founded the Red Tail Scholarship Foundation (RTSF), a non-profit flight school located on Moton Field, Tuskegee, Alabama. The mission of RTSF is to seek, identify, and develop qualified, motivated students who demonstrate the values the original Tuskegee Airmen embodied, and provide them the tools necessary to succeed in the aviation career field.   He is also the founding director of LIFT Academy, an aviation school that recently developed an advanced flight training program in Tuskegee that will prepare the next generation of aspiring pilots for high-paying career opportunities in the airline industry.  From the skies to a front door, Will knows that the right guide makes all the difference.

He and his wife of 35 years, Melanie, cherish time with their three children and a growing number of grandchildren. Will is honored to serve clients across the River Region with integrity, dedication, and a steady hand.
