Josie Russell Young

Josie was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama and initially had no plans to move back after earning her Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Troy University. After graduation, she DID end up moving back to the River Region and has found a new love for the place she calls home!

Josie is invested in the River Region in many ways. She is a Loaned Executive for the United Way, a Board Member for the Wilson YMCA, and a Board Member of the Downtown Business Association in Montgomery. She also has experience in construction and grew up in the commercial construction world, as the Marketing Director for Russell Construction of Alabama, Inc. In 2020, Josie was named as one of the Alabama AGC’s top 40-under-40 in construction.

Her love for real estate stems from helping a family envision their dream house and making it a reality. It is different for everyone and Josie takes a deep interest in finding what YOU love. In addition to residential real estate, she has developed and sold several commercial properties in the River Region.
