Governor Ivey has just announced an investment of $5.8 million in ATRIP funds for the development of Interstate 85 – Exit 16 in the Town of Pike Road. This announcement is a testament to the continuous growth and progress that Pike Road is experiencing.
The allocated funds will be utilized to construct roundabouts at two key intersections: the SR-126/SR-8 (US 80) intersection and the SR-8 (US 80)/Marler Road intersection. These roundabouts are specifically designed to enhance traffic flow and safety at Interstate 85, US Hwy 80, and Marler Road. With this infrastructure improvement, residents and businesses in the Pike Road area can look forward to smoother commutes.
